It is important for our children to learn Gurmukhi (Punjabi) not only because it is our mother tongue but also by learning this language, we and our youngster will empathize the rich Sikh cultural, our spiritual heritage and more importantly our community will remain attached with Punjab, birthplace of Sikhism. To understand the teachings of our Guru Sahib, to learn Gurbani and to adapt the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji it is very important to practice Gurmukhi. The aim of this school is to provide enjoyable environment for children to learn to speak, read and write Punjabi, learn tabla, gatka and Gurbani Santheya to make children aware of Sikh heritage and rich Sikh history.
